Dennis Scott and son Ryan Dennis Scott has received his second nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award.
Following on the heels of a recent regional Emmy win, the two-time Grammy and Emmy award recipient has just been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Music Direction and Arranging.

DENNIS SCOTT WINS 2007 EMMY AWARD

Emmy Nashville producer is on a musical roll receiving his second Emmy award on the heels of a recent Grammy win.

Dennis Scott, known for his work as a music composer & producer, received an Emmy at the 2007 awards for the series “BJ’s Teddy Bear Club.” Scott accepted the statue at a gala event which took place at Music City's elegant new Symphony Center. Says Scott, "BJ is a character I created fifteen years ago and was re-invented for the series." Scott serves as music director for the show which airs on TBN. A new BJ Christmas special was seen throughout the holiday season.

Scott has written music for TV’s “Noddy” and live touring shows such as "Clifford," "Sesame Street" and "Scholastic's Magic School Bus." His recent Grammy award was for "Songs From the Neighborhood - The Music of Mister Rogers.

TOP COUNTRY BAND AND ELMO TEAM UP TO PERFORM A DENNIS SCOTT ORIGINAL SONG ON "SESAME STREET"

Sugarland, the acclaimed pop-country band, just recorded Scott’s tune “Songs” for an upcoming segment on PBS-TV’s “Sesame Street.”

Sugarland put their own musical stamp on the Dennis Scott tune. "Songs" was previously featured on the ABC TV special "ElmoPalooza" (featuring Elmo singing along with comedian Jon Stewart) and was included on the Grammy winning album of the same name. Dennis won a Grammy Award for producing the album “Sesame Country” in 1980.

FAMILY CAR TRIPS GO QUICKER WITH NEW KIDS CD BY GRAMMY WINNING PRODUCER, DENNIS SCOTT

February 2007, Greenhill Music will release a new collection of Dennis Scott’s music for children, “SILLY CAR SONGS.”

The album, produced and arranged by Dennis Scott, features all new versions of kids songs and novelty favorites. Titles include, "On the Road Again," "Beep Beep," "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini," "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" and "The Ants Go Marching." Also included is an updated rendition of a rare song originally performed by The Three Stooges called "Swinging the Alphabet."

BABIES "HOOKED ON" MUSIC BY PRODUCER DENNIS SCOTT

A Spring 2007 release is schedule for three new “Hooked on Baby” DVD’s featuring songs and underscorings arranged and recorded by Dennis Scott.

The series is distributed by Educate Inc., best known for its popular "Hooked on Phonics" series. Dennis' music played an important role in this product and each DVD was enhanced by a different style ranging from Big Band to Reggae. "We were faced with an impossible deadline," says Scott. "But I love a challenge."
